washington d.c....

After Philadelphia we made our way to the nations capital. It has been years since i have been to Washington D.C. so my return was very exciting.

*on i side note my summer has been very uneventful and i have gone in and out slumps. these are the reason for the blog break. i hope to be more on top of things from here on out. i will post pics from the summer but the stories will be dressed up to seem of interest.

back to D.C....

we got there some what early and took full advantage of our time covering at least 7-9 miles over our promenading. our first stop was the capital building. it was one of those buildings that in its presence you can't help but to feel small and almost insignificant. unless you vote, i would think you would feel quite the opposite if you did. but still, you can't ever get use to this kind of beauty...

down the road we went to the smithsonian institutes air and space museum. it was so very cool. all the planes made me feel like a kid being easily amused by life's simple things...

they had a wright brothers bike...

a plane named after chicago...

*it looks like the propeller is a south side chicago mustache.

the plane snoopy flew...

and a big ass motherfuckin' engine of sorts...

one thing that stunk was the 90 degree heat. with the sun and knowledge pounding down on us all day it left us pretty beat...

luckily there were twins around...

we went in to the national archives and checked out some of there things. nice gift shop and awesome constitution...

not to mention the declaration of independence. so awesome, better than vision street wear skate shows...

well almost better than them.

*drew opted to not do the blow job face. looks like someone does not love his country as much as someone else who is willing to suck an imaginary penis for it. a different pride, american pride!!!

we popped into the smithsonian institutes museum of american history to check out the emancipation proclamation. pretty bad ass lincoln, pretty bad ass. take that honkey...

the smithsonian institute has something like 287 museums in washington d.c. we couldn't visit all of them but were fortunate enought to see their version of a natural history museum.

here's a horny gay dinosaur...

a whale chasing a big ass sea turtle...

security was a total asshole...

but the fish were super relaxing...

to end our tour of the greater mall area of washington d.c. was one of my heroe's monuments. no, not thomas jefferson, that would be stupid. it was abraham lincoln. the best damn lawyer this country has ever seen. really, cochrane good...

finally we had to bust out to make it to somewhere in maryland to do a show. but not before checking out anthony bourdain's recommended "Ben's Chili Bowl"...

man it was so good...

man he thinks he's the cooking worlds lou reed...

all in all d.c. was great and i feel lucky to have had the time to check it out. one day i will return in the form of someone just rolling into town to catch a matinee of a summer blockbuster movie starring will smith. hopefully, he is still getting work, keep your fingers crossed.

here is a quick video i did as an ode to dc...
