last day home for awhile...

i did some laundry today.

as usual i did it gangsta like,

i leave tomorrow morning for a couple of weeks and had to get a bunch of stuff done.

i ended up running around like someone going through the obstacle course on family double dare. i now hate marc summers and might write a letter telling him so.

in all honesty it wasn't like that at all and i have already dismissed the idea of writing a letter.

i pretty much just did laundry, like in the picture above. i also heated up a pizza, but do not have a picture of that.

here's additional laundry fun,

we had a show friday night in debuque IA.

this was the group. drews hair is getting long.

i had never been to dubuque IA before. i thought it was a pretty little hilly city.

i have always enjoyed the exterior stair look on loft like buildings.
dubuque had their fair share,

here's another portrait of dubuque,

if it needed to have an artsy name i would call it "le hotel room #3 of a 7 picture series"

the one shitty thing about traveling is i miss this guy a lot.

bill, julie and hmo help me out with him when i'm gone. they are great people. when i call to check in they will usually put the phone up to his ear. jockey and i will then have a chance to catch up, chew the fat, or just plain old rap about the haps. so its not like we don't talk the entirety of my trips.

i saw a dead body today. it was burnt to a crisp.

it looked like a pick up truck.

but a pick up truck personified,

it was horrible. you could still smell the burn.

it was right next to a fire hydrant too.

i wonder if they had some how driven to the hydrant in hopes of putting out the flames.

i know you can't tell by the pictures but this is right across the street from "odges", a greasy spoon that makes really good polishes and bacon cheeseburgers. check it out, 2 thumbs in upward position.

i saw this car parked on the street tonight,

i kept thinking the kid who parked this car must have felt pretty adult like when he/she was done.

and its fucking horrible. it would either be towed for stupidity or stolen because the lack of any security.
